The Big Advice
02:40
|
|||
The chained they sleep at night
With one wide open eye
Resting at the heights
Under one enlightened tree
I'll build a house on the other side of town
Or rent a house in another part of town
Where I live my life in the shadows of your life
Waiting for the big advice
The ship sails out tonight
From the island of your mind
The keys to my door
Are washed up on the shore
And I am going where the snowflakes fall
And I am going where the snowflakes fall
And I'm breathing, breathing on my own
I'll build a house on the other side of town
Or rent a house in another part of town
Where I live my life in the shadows of your life
Waiting for the big advice

Armory
03:46
|
|||
Waking up to the sound of thunder
Bleeding mind through innocence
Rest my arms in the cold summer rain
Bloodless mouth and breathing heavy
Through the northern streets we walk
Flowers grown in the shadows of the morning sun
Rebuilding the armory, rebuilding the armory
To bottle up our souls, to bottle up our souls
But you hold my hand
You hold my hand
In a nation built by feathers
It’s not so hard to fly away
Through the clouds and begin what has begun
But our hearts are built by needles
And our eyes are filled with led
We fall down in the shadows of the morning sun
Rebuilding the armory, rebuilding the armory
To bottle up our souls, to bottle up our souls
But you hold my hand
You hold my hand
They hold us down, they hold us down
They bring us down, they bring us down
Rebuilding the armory, rebuilding the armory
To bottle up our souls, to bottle up our souls
But you hold my hand
You hold my hand

Shoreline Weeks
03:15
|
|||
Romance is dead in the night
Your feet are pointed backwards
And beneath your ears, drunken in my words.
I feel like I'm your shadow
Roll back the camera and try
To spend the night all over
Stand still and dry the stains
that color your blackened mind
The weak have come alive, they sit on the shoreline
And hold their hands in the night
The weak have come alive, now they dance on the shoreline
Their feet are passing on by
I'm wandering round the city, speaking to myself
In an heartache I found my goal
I think about you, do you dream about me?
As I walk through the darkness of the night
All my things are gathered now
You had them shipped away
All my things have been counted now
You had them carried away
They say your home is where your heart is, but my home is in my heart
As I stand on the terrace of nothing
Guilty of despair, like sons of the earth
But I ain’t no one to fear
The weak have come alive, they sit on the shoreline
And hold their hands in the night
The weak have come alive, now they dance on the shoreline
Their feet are passing on by

Hardland
03:14
|
|||
There is a time around midnight
When darkness disappears
And you float free for a while
There is a land of colored dreams
That will open up it’s gate
And let you naked step inside
When your taste of life is wrong
You shake it off and runaway
And your sense of time is gone
You break it then you runaway
Into the Hardland
When your odds in life are even
Sadness flies like ravens,
down your empty thirsty throat
So put your lashes on
And put your lipstick on
And spend another weekend on your own
When your taste of life is wrong
You shake it off and runaway
And your sense of time is gone
You break it then you runaway
Into the Hardland
Na nana nanana
Na nana nanana
